Continuing Education(CE)

Continuing education is crucial for EMTs and Paramedics to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field and provide high-quality patient care. In the State of Michigan, EMS providers can benefit from ongoing training, including specialized courses such as Pediatric Medication Administration.

CPR, FIRST AID and BLS

Learn how to perform CPR, BLS,  or other lifesaving skills such as first aid skills from our certified instructors. Our AHA course for Healthcare providers, BLS or HeartSaver® courses are for anyone with limited or no medical training.

Emergency Medical Responder

Medical First Responders are individuals who have obtained certification in the treatment of medical emergencies and have completed vital training in pre-hospital care. Successful trainees must develop the necessary skills to react quickly and safely in emergency situations. 

EMT Refresher

Through advanced training in medical emergencies, our EMT students learn to adapt the correct procedures and timely measures to provide outstanding care to all patients in emergency situations. Our classes teach the fundamentals of patient assessment and treatment. The standard of practice of an EMT is in accordance with the most current Michigan Department of Health & Human Services guidelines.

EMT Training

This course is designed for individuals 18 years of age and older interested in becoming EMTs. Emphasis is placed on the development of knowledge and skills needed to provide basic life saving care. In addition, the student will be given the opportunity to use their skills in the ambulance and clinical setting. The course is 233 hours and runs for approximately four months.

Paramedic Training

This course is designed for a licensed EMT interested in becoming a paramedic. Emphasis will be placed on improving current methods and knowledge of pre-hospital care. Additionally, the student gains advanced knowledge in respiratory, cardiovascular, and drug therapy.
